Subject: "Well they're underestimating your determination." She laughed a little bit and shook her head. While Lacey could now be handed pretty much anything she wanted, she preferred to work hard and that was a quality that Eliza truly appreciated in her. "I think if your scores are good enough and they let you in, you'll make tuition happen." Not to mention that she'd gladly volunteer the remainder of what she didn't earn through scholarships.

  • Tom, the vet, had already offered her subsideries to her scholaraship if she promised to come and work for his practice for the first year after she graduated, but the scholarships she'd been looking at were pretty generous if her scores were high enough and she maintained good grades throughout her college course. "It's pretty scary.... but the university is only an hour away and Tom sai I can work with him at weekends and get paid for it... and If I promise to work for him for at least a year after I graduate he said he'll subsidise my scholarship." Lacey grinned a little and glanced over at Elize. She had Eliza to thank for all of this... getting her into horses, introducing her to all these people, home schooling her. "I couldn;t have done any of thise without you." (NT) -- Lacey, 09:23:25 01/16/07 Tue
