She swallowed softly, feeling a little foolish and abandoned, trying to hold back the tears that stung her eyes "Was he hurt too?" She looked back up to Ryan, her blue eyes glazed slightly with tears "Do my brothers know? They'll be worried I didn;t go home last night...." she spoke softly, though her tears could be heard on her voice. She tried to shift a little but found that she couldn't move, and the pain was unbareable when she tried to.

He didn't notice the word slipping in, but he had automatically reassumed the boyfriend position here..
