A small smile twinged the corner of his lips as he listened to her, he knew that horse meant the world to her and it would have ripped him to shreds knowing that the horse was suffering and Lacey, in turn was suffering - so he was pleased to make the report. "Tom said he'd stop by later on today to have a talk with you about what's going on but he wanted one of us to talk to you first and let you know what's going on.." She would have probably immediately panicked if Tom had sat down to have a talk with her first thing.

  • Lacey took it all in and closed her eyes with a soft sigh, pursing her litps softly. They had her neck in a collar to stop her from moving about and it prevented her from even nodding her head. Her injuries stung an throbbed- the local anesthetic wearing off from the lacerations to her face and her arms. She was glad Tom would be coming by to talk to her- she could ask him all the questions that Ryan wouldnt know the answer to- despite how hard he would try to find out.
