Subject: She lowered her gaze again and closed her eyes a moment against the tears as he made her feel even worse, letting out a soft sigh and resting her head back in the pillows. She hadn't wanted to hurt him... she had just wanted to see if doing what he suggested changed how she felt about him... and it hadn;t. "I'm sorry I hurt you... thats not why I did it..." She murmered softly, looking up at him tentatively, her fingers extending slightly to reach for his "I was hurting too... but I had forgiven you... nobody is perfect... I know that better than anyone."

He frowned and didn't hesitate a moment when she reached out for his fingers. "It's my fault that I was sending out mixed signals... I was telling you to do things that my heart was screaming at you not to do... " He leaned over her to brush some of the hair that had escaped from her braids away from her eyes. "Please give me one more chance, Lacey... just one more chance, I just want to show you.. you know how well we work together." He didn't think he'd ever felt more desperate in his life.
