He had hated being away from her for the few short hours it had taken for him to go and pick his parents up - they were on their way a bit behind, just had a few post travel affairs to look after and then they'd be along - it had been all Ryan could do to convince Eliza that she didn't need to come rushing to the hospital right away - so she was doing a horse check, assessing the damage. He made his way back in, car keys jingling in his hand as he made his way down the hallway with a tub of her favorite icecream.
