He gave her another sound kiss to her temple and lifted himself from the couch, bringing his camera with him to secure it back in it's padded carrying case before he took off for the kitchen, following the smell of still-warm food in the oven like his life depended on it. He grabbed his plate and a fork as well as a glass of water and made his way back to the living room to plop down beside her, breaking one of his mother's cardinal rules about red sauces in the living room, which was carpeted in a lush cream color. "So what did you do today besides get hired for a new job?"

Eliza was pretty easy going about most things- but her beautiful cream and beige lounge was the one thing kept sacred from mucky yard boots and food. "Well... I had a lesson on spencer and we cleared a 3ft 9 course with inches to spare... and then your mom thought I needed a bit more of a challenge so she had me do the same course on Bella." Bella was capable but needed a little more work from her rider than her own beautiful boy did- he just carried her around and found extra legs when he needed to.
