Lacey listened intently to Eliza's advice, nodding soundly and heading over to the combination again just at a walk with Eliza beside her, listening to her advise on how she;d ride it so she would have a better set up for her next fence. It was only when she turned Spencer away and set him into a trot that her gaze flickered to her boyfriend and the snotty little witch who now boarded here, she paid no attention though, and slipped her beautiful hannovarian into a canter, cantering a circle before approaching the difficult combination and once again taking Spencer through it with ease, though this time her set up for the scary last fence was much better and Spencer covered the ground much more fluidly and soared over the fence with confidence. She brought him back to a trot and glanced over to Eliza as she told her to do the whole course one more time perfectly. It was a high order but it was what was expected and Lacey knew that she and Spencer could deliver. She set him off at a canter and crossed the school between the jumps, Spencer completing a fluid flying change and then soming to the first fence perfectly. The pair looked spectacular together and Spencer was a first class horse- he could easily rival Haileys horse in style, ability and looks. Lacey was curious to see Hailey ride- she felt a little sorry for the horse- never having the enjoyment of a simple hack or a fun trail ride.
