He tipped his head to look over his shoulder at her, looking pointedly uncomfortable at her touch on his arm, but not saying anything. The smile faded and then resurfaced. "Heya Hailey... how are you? Mom said you were coming to ride here, I was waiting til I saw you." His attention flickered between her and Lacey as she got advice and pointers from Eliza, obviously lingering on Lacey longer. "I'm doing well... How about you?" She eyed his camera, hanging on his side, just as pointedly as he'd eyed her hand on his arm -- she didn't know he had anything to do with photography. "So what are you? Farm photographer or something?" She raised a brow, then followed his gaze to the girl on the horse, her face hidden by the beak of her helmet.

- A look of sheer pride crossed over his features as he took his attention away from Hailey for a moment to watch Lacey execute a difficult combination, and then back with his 'small smile' spread into a large one that cracked his face nearly in two.
