" She tucked her blonde curls back behind her ear, feeling the pinkness of her cheeks lessening a little as she shifted her weight on her bare feet awkwardly "We waited a long time... but I was sure... and I still am sure... that Ryans who I'm supposed to be with. I know I'm young but im not naive..."

  • She lifted a brow as she listened to the continuation of Lacey's explanation and shook her head, a little dumbstruck that all of this was coming out -- well, dumbstruck but not at all surprised, over the time she had come to know Lacey as an articulate, passionate girl that she was very proud of. He stood at the door with it cracked open a bit to watch the goings-on - really, he should be doing this but the thought of saying anything to his mom that even remotely denoted him as an adult, especially one that was sexually active, was so embarrassing it burned his face up just thinking about it.
