All of the horses were massive imported warmbloods, each with a name longer and more difficult to pronounce than the one that came before it. He looked over his shoulder to see the expression on her face as they pulled into the gates, announcing their arrival in an intercom, the gates in place to protect the sizeable investments that lived within.

  • Her eyes were as big as side plates as they pulled intot he flashy establishment. Eliza's stables were beautiful- but they were much more homely than these- she suspected even a peice of straw on the ground would be uncommon. She craned her neck to see through the gates and her shocked gaze turned in a flash to the intercom machine, biting at her lip. She was like a child that had just discovered that santa 'had been'.
