Subject: It was a long time before he fell asleep, fitfully, painfully aware of her in the next room over and aching all through his body, including his heart. She paused outside of Lacey's door for a moment after she left Ryan's room, giving him a incredulous glance and closing the door - she figured it was best to let Lacey work things out on her own, until morning at least. She made her way downstairs to bid farewell to the rest of the guests.
