Re: Too late. I've already read it a few years ago

Then what did you do with this information? For example the fact that in 1920 only a few thousands Jews and more then 700.000 Arabs lived in Palestine? Suppose you lived in a country and in a few decades thousands of foreigners arrive with the intention to make a homeland from the country you live in and who clearly want you out. Wouldn’t you feel threatened? That’s a basic human reaction. Just look what happened with the Indians.

The truth is that when those territories belonged to Egypt and Jordan, nobody even mentioned about
"occupation" and "Palestinian state".

What a ridiculous argument. That's like: I forcefully take over your house and say: How you dare to complain, you only rented the house. Why did you never complain about that.

But I do. They declared war, they lost it and those lands were annexed.

The Arab countries did not agree with the UN resolution. Do you have the opinion countries should obey UN resolutions? Do you also have the opinion that the party who loses a war, has no rights?

For me Palestinian charter and Arafat's speeches are convincing enough.

Israel for once should acknowledge that the creation of Israel did result in casualties. Israel should for once acknowledge that Palestinians are victims. To deny any responsibility for 700.000 refugees, makes a very bad impression. Not give a damn about World Opinion also gives a very bad impression. Destroying Palestinian cities with tanks and helicopters also is not very good for your public relations. Israel's main problem: The images and facts are all in favor for the Palestinians to play the role of victim. The suicide bombings even are in their advantage. The world thinks: when a girl of 18 blows herself up these people really must be desperate.
