i am the #2 daughter of leo edward osburn. he has traced his lineage back to jonathan osburn-who was born at the forks of the yadkin river in north carolina.leo'father carl eugene osburn resided in eugen oregon most of his life ,wintering in arizona ,i believe.leo is the only son of carl eugene and nellie(helen catherine) cuneo osburn;he is here visiting with me in virginia for a few months;he has lived in shinglehouse pennsylvania all of his life;he is very interested in his geneology;i'm trying to help him out;he says that jonathan osburn was his grandfather's grandfather-please if you could be of any assistance it would be wonderful;he is 81;still very much alive rides his motorcycle when the weather is nice;he made the drive down here to chesapeake virgina in 10 hours from shinglehouse pa
when he came to visit he had done a lot of work with his best friend max dunshie who also lives in shinglehouse but their search stopped with jonathan;be looking forward to hearing from you-colleen
