hmm, what can i say about buells... well, they're overweight, underpowered, and handle poorly. now for good part, they are kinda cool lookin', and i probably have to try a whole lot harder to get a ticket on one i think they're marketing aim is pretty close to the mark, i can't even complain about the prices, however, i would love to see one that did sport a revolutionary new powerplant, chassis design, and o yeah, how about a transmission that shifts with ease, that goddamn thing is like shifting a semi, double-clutch, stir, stir, pray, & engage. if they fixed those three things, i would have no objection to purchasing one, hell, i'd even do it proudly! -- phil is right, they need to pull their heads out of the sand, & get it right. --oh, & i think the only time suzuki used the gixxer 600 for a first time on anything was the introduction of the first water-cooled gsx-r. hopefully this letter can get back to the gods of american made motorcycles, maybe they can use it for toilet paper or something. or--maybe they might even consider it....
