I was in the 511th from may to November in 1971 I was a crane operator was there when the typhoon hit chu Lai and went north to rebuild the road to the fire base upon the dmz we didn't take the cranes up there so I helped on the wrecker I live in Pine Bluff Arkansas I can't emberm names but there was 1 guy from stugart Arkansas The company clerk told me about the early outs, he had put in for one so I applied mine came thru before his I left after we moved to Danang to be deactivated >>I was with the 511th Engineer Co (Panel Bridge) in
