Glenn, With all those detectors you will be my subject matter specialist when I want another detector. Got to thinking about the lack of silver at the site. I hunted this abandoned old school in Wiersdale Fla. about two years ago. I noted the complete lack of any cents, dimes, quarters but the only thing I dug was nickles. I think what they came in and did was hunt all the "cherry" and leave nickles as you know can be aluminum trash etc. I've done this myself before with time constraints. Fisher will give them credit on this one is very good at finding nickles. I'm glad they left me nickles that one day ended up pulling a 1904 V nickle only about two in. down. Thanks for the nickles. I'm working this old school doing this one different starting from the perimeters and working in. Found yesterday the remains of this old pocket watch almost did'nt dig it cause it profiled large. Figured what the hell. Found a 1941 Wheat with nice patina on a dirt road ajacent to the school. Was going to suggest the small coil really thats all I ever hunt with on mine. This old school is pretty cool looking. Actually two old schools one torn down. They did leave the "steps to nowhere" someday hope to get a digital camera and post pics. HH to all...Wheat
