Good advice Wheat, I'll do just that when I go back to the school. I know about the kids not haveing a lot of money to lose 'cause I was one of 'em !!! I went to this school in the late 60's and early 70's and you know, I don't remember any swings or any play things at all here. There was a track and football field but nothing else. I guess we didn't play back then.LOL.. They went in there and bulldozed it down and didn't even take down the venetian blinds in the classrooms. Now there's pieces of aluminum blinds all over the place. Man, it's hard to hunt up close to where the building was. Wheww!!!
I use the Tesoro Bandido II Umax with the 9x8 spider coil.
The last time I hunted the school, I was useing the same outfit but with the stock brown 8 in. coil. I have a CZ7a, a 1266x, a Sidewinder, a Cutlass Umax, an original Bandido, and a new Eldorado Umax, but I like the Bandido II Umax the best..I use the CZ at the beach but not dry land.
I'm hunting a vacant lot where a monster two story house was recently torn down and it is full of trash, but I have managed to pull 41 wheat pennies, 4 indian heads,3 mercurys, 2 silver quarters, 2 buffalos, and one V nickel(liberty head 1885) out of the trash. Also found a neat RR lock in really good shape here. The spring in the lock cover still works perfectly..I hope to have a 4" coil next time I go there to pick through the trash...If I can get "Sanny Claws" to come in March !!!LOL...HH.....Glenn..
