Post 346 A: A Birthday Wish

As some of you may know, a few days ago I celebrated my 56th birthday. I wish to thank all those who sent me Birthday well wishes and greeting. Especially those "Good Christian" who sent me greetings despite our difference of opinion on religion.

I am not sure whether I would be classified as an agnostic or not. Agnostics believe there is no evidence for or against the existence of God. I believe there is no evidence, that man can find, for or against the existence of the Great Architect, as we call him. Only God and prove God's existence. If God proved his existence, what would be the value of faith?

I chose to believe in the existence of The Great Architect. However, in saying that I also must say I don't believe he runs around with a magic wand creating things, or for that matter writing books. I believe that was the work of man trying to imagine the mind of God. I think they did a reasonable job of it when it came to how we should treat each other. Not so much of a kindness when it came to the planet itself. But what would you expect of Bedouins of 500 B.C. to 64 A.D.? They certainly did a lot of plagiarizing of other work that went into the Bible. The story of the Great Flood in the Bible was taken from the Epic of Gilgamesh. Which itself may have been taken from the Enuma Elis. The Ten commandments are simply a retelling of Spell 125 in The Egyptian Book of the Dead.

The very idea of trying to interpret the mind of God is ludicrous in itself. Try to imagine an ant trying to interpret the mind of Albert Einstein. Now increase Einstein's intellect by a billion I.Q. points. The idea is beyond farcical. Yet that Reverend on that pulpit is going to tell you that he, the good Reverend, knows the mind of God.

Charles Darwin thought he, a great scientist, was unworthy of even giving an opinion on the existence of God. Today Darwin is reviled by people who don't bother to understand his work or what he himself stood for, the increase of man's knowledge. It usually comes from those who see knowledge as a very dangerous thing. They think it better to pray, hold their Bible close, vote republican as their parents did, and hope the corporation they work for and their republican government does the right thing.
Which you know it won't.

All while they themselves get their information from Fox News. After all, what could be fairer or more balanced then a News Corporation created by the wealthy to give only their slanted viewpoint to the masses?

What is amazing is that these same "Christians" vote republican. The republicans of the past, not long ago, voted in bills that allowed these same "Christians" jobs from American corporations to be sent overseas to China, a Communist country. The products are made by Communist workers in Communist controlled factories and sent back to the U.S.A. without paying a single penny in U.S. import tax. Then it's put on the shelves of Walmart for these same "Christians" to buy. One has to wonder, at what point do these "Christians" wake up and smell the rancid B.S.?

It absolutely boggles the mind!
--------------------------------------

One has also to wonder at the fact that the Taliban fighters in the middle east, and abroad, have usually never read the complete Koran. Or have any great understanding of it. Much as the so called "Christians" have never read the complete Bible. Yet these same Taliban fighters will go by what their religious leaders, mullahs, tell them. They're the foot soldiers. But who controls the foot soldiers?

It is interest that 15 of the 19 members of the 911 Hijackers were from Saudi Arabia, not Iraqi or Afghanistan. Yet we saw, less than eight years ago, George W. Bush walking hand-in-hand with Prince Bandar of Saudi Arabia. It makes one wonder if all this war and rallying around the war effort is just a political move with a financial interest and purpose behind it. Now we, under President Obama, are about to enter a new war in the same area. More money will need to be printed up by the Federal Reserve System which, despite its name, is a private banking corporation not controlled by the U.S. Government. It loans money to the U.S. Government with interest. It make it's own regulations. It's consistent with the central banking model the U.S. Government tried to escape from when the U.S.A. declared independence in American Revolution of 1776. The more money they print, the more money they make. And nothing is more profitable than war.

As most know, I have long been a critic of U.S. involvement in foreign wars. It seems a lot of the very wealthy make a great deal of money off the death and destruction. I have only in the past three months come across a little movie released in 2009 called 'ZEITGEIST.' I highly recommend watching this movie. You can find it on U-Tube. You might even want to buy a copy for yourself. It's very informative. I already knew most of the information from other sources. There were, however, some things I did not know.

I didn't know the sun, if you live in the northern hemisphere, moves south for six months until December 22nd, 23rd, and 24th when it appears to stand still for three days. So the sun is said to be "dead" for three days. At this same time of the year the three stars in Orion's Belt lineup and point to the brightest star in the sky, Sirius. This bright star is in a direct line with the sun and the three stars in Orion's Belt. The three stars in Orion's Belt are call "The Three Kings," as they have been for thousands of years. So the Three Kings are following the brightest star in the sky to the SUN (SUN GOD) that is being reborn from the dead, rising from the dead, on December 25th. The day then begin to get longer. Now who does that sound like? Is Jesus just another solar deity as was Horus 3000 B.C., Mithras 1200 B.C., Krishna 900 B.C., and Dionysus 500 B.C.?

People who tend to believe a certain Dogma will not wake up from it. You can try to show them and they'll turn their heads to keep from looking. Or give them something to read and they'll read the first line and put it down because it conflicts with their Dogma. This is to say dogmatic ideas. Not truth, not science, ideas they've been taught or chosen to believe. [Dogma/ 1 c: a point of view or tenet put forth as authoritative without adequate grounds] - Webster's
The ignorance and refusal to learn just boggles the mind. It's enough to leave one with a deep sense of despair, especially for the future.

So to those, and only those, who refuse to learn and listen. When things in the future get really bad. If you want to blame someone. Just look in the mirror.

I have determined that there is a 'Cristian Taliban' in this country. I believe it is no less dangerous than the Islamic Taliban. They just, as yet, have not progressed to the point of using bombs. Why should they? They have been the majority religion for a very long time. Yet they always pretend to be set upon and discriminated against by the Government. Which is he furthest thing from the truth. They will try to destroy or harm anyone that disagrees with their dogmatic opinion. This does not apply to all Christians, obviously.

My birthday wish is for peace. That seeming to be impossible, I would wish those of you who can see through the smoke and mirrors would attempt to explain it to those who can't. But please de so with patients and kindness. Not everyone is at your level.
