Subject: Not so random thoughts.

"I really like my job." --- Does anyone really enjoy their job ? I mean really ? With every single aspect of their work being fun to do ? Personally, I hate my job. Oh, there are some aspects of it that I like, but the majority of it is shit work. I like some of the people I have met, but I don't like what my company does to those people.

"Money can't buy happiness." --- Bull. Money can buy you the spare time you need to find true happiness. Me ? I spend too much time working to really be able to enjoy myself. Frankly, going to Toronto with M and Dennis and meeting Paul was probably one of the most fun things I've done in years. It was right around a pay period that I had the cash to throw down and not worry about anything. Right now, I am edging up on a paycheque and feeling the sting of no money and it hurts. With money, I could give to charity and feel better, I could go places and see things that other people have created and enrich my personal culture and fulfill the lives of those artists who created such things. I could meet the people I would most like to meet and not be handcuffed by the pressures of thinking that I only have this particular time off so that I have to get all of these things done that I can't do when I am busy working to try and make more money to be able to enjoy myself once in a while. Today, for example, I haven't got more than $10 to my name. I cannot go anywhere since I need that money to buy my lunches until my paycheque comes in and even then, I have to pay rent from this cheque, I have to pay my mother back for the only $10 I have since it's borrowed and I have to figure out if there is going to be enough money left over to get me to the next cheque. Money doesn't buy happiness, but it does buy peace of mind and security and those are two things that readily lend themselves to happiness.

"If you could be anything, what would you be ?" --- A millionaire.

"If you could go anywhere, where would you go ?" --- Everywhere. Mainly, I would like to see English speaking tourist locations just because I am too lazy to learn new languages.

"How would you get where you want to go ?" --- I would love to be able to try every form of travel ... Car, motorcycle, train, plane, ship, helicopter, bus, monorail. It wouldn't matter if I had the money, you know ?

Basically, I want to see the world, I want to meet certain people and I want to read good books. I want to see good movies, hear good music and ... I want the best of life.

I want the free time that money could buy for me.
