Deb; It is good to see your writing once again. This holds a sadness for me as I read it. My father was so lost when my mother passed on prior to his death. He would sit by the window in depression wishing she were with him. To be together 60 years and then suddenly be alone was just terrible for him. Sorry about the rambling. My Dad planted roses for my mother too. You see your poem sparked memories. Wanda
