I lost the e-mail you sent to me,
It got deleted somehow, you see,
But every word you wrote,
Got marked upon my heart.
So I promised to love you
With a contrite heart, for every day
We spend apart. Because, faraway I see
A distant place and in my dreams
I see your face.
So I get carried away, or so it seems,
By someone special in my dreams
And so unreal, I can't replace,
When I see your picture
There is your face.
Today I am sending three roses express.
There is something I have to confess,
I am sending my love, right back to you
"Hallo, my love, you know, I love you."
I promise that our love will grow
Each day, like falling snow that loves
The ground until it melts, that waits
For promise, until it ends.
The roses that I sent to you,
They are truly from my heart.
They are red, yellow and white
For every day we are apart.
Tonight when I get home late
I will send this e-mail, this letter to you,
But you know... each time I write,
It takes away a piece of my heart.
And after the pieces that you take,
There is only one, the heart could break.
So I ask you please, treat this heart with care,
And wait for me, because, I'll be there.
To share your life, through storms and clouds,
Through rain and snow, until the sun's abundance!
So, we could walk, hand in hand
And grow old together, until the end.
