He was silent for a long moment before tipping his head back a little, brows furrowing gently. "She won't go and see a doctor?" This didn't sound good, but he needed to stay out of her life - he knew that. It was so hard though... Those kids were obviously struggling, and he was living in luxury. He had never been a righteous person either, but really - this just wasn't fair.

Hell they charge you a hundred dollars just to sign in practically." He shrugged his shoulders, looking back into the window to eye the girl for a second before he looked back to Travis. "I can't even afford to feed them right, much less take them to the doctors when they need it." He had gotten in way over his head when he took this project on and it was overwhelming at times.
