He smirked, tipping his head to the side as he regarded the other man. "When she turns a couple years older, will she be good enough for you then?" He slipped the card into his pocket none the less, if things kept getting worse with Lysia he would have no choice but as of right now he couldn't take her anymore because it would raise to many questions about who she was, where she lived, where her parents were and why she wasn't on their insurance. He shook his head slowly, glancing around a little before stepping a little closer to Joey for the conversation. "She's too good for me now, but I'm not allowed to care, understand? And when she's a couple years older, she's going to be interested in going out, having fun, being young, but I'm also going to be a couple years older and probably shopping for a house in the 'burbs and getting a dog, and a sedan or something." He reminded the kid - it wasn't just the legality issue, they were in such different points in their lives. "But about her getting checked out - this guy won't ask questions.
