His gaze lingered on her but he let her hand go - not wanting to get her into any sort of trouble with her boss.

  • She shrugged lightly, looking down at where he was touching her wrist before she looked back to him again, letting out a soft breath. "Just a cold I can't seem to get rid of..." She murmured, biting her lip as she shifted her weight a little bit, a little wobbly but not to bad. She had slept from the time she got home the night before till she came in - well on and off between the coughing fits - so she would have some strength for the couple of hours she was scheduled at work but it didn't seem to be doing a whole lot of good.
