You don't look like you're feeling too well..." He was just gently inquiring, not accusing her of anything. His thumb brushed her wrist slowly, tenderly. His gaze lingered on her but he let her hand go - not wanting to get her into any sort of trouble with her boss.

  • She shrugged lightly, looking down at where he was touching her wrist before she looked back to him again, letting out a soft breath. "Just a cold I can't seem to get rid of..." She murmured, biting her lip as she shifted her weight a little bit, a little wobbly but not to bad. She had slept from the time she got home the night before till she came in - well on and off between the coughing fits - so she would have some strength for the couple of hours she was scheduled at work but it didn't seem to be doing a whole lot of good.
