• She was a little overwhelmed by all the sounds and the smokeyness, nearly jumping out of her skin when some guy brushed by her, trailing his hand across her hip and winking down at her. In a hurry, she caught up to Nina, clearing her throat just a touch. "It's...busy." She stated with a smirk, running her hand over her head before she looked over her shoulder for Rio. He was sitting next to his brother at the bar, chatting quietly, he didn't even hear or notice them as they came in but that was expected seeing as how it was noisy and crowded in the place. • She smirked and nodded, casting Jackie a sidewards glance , clearly a little amused. "Yeah... its alreays busy in here." She glanced up at the 'tender as he approached, ordering them some drinks before turning her gaze to glance around the place, catching a few guys glances but paying them no heed- it was to be expected, the hot little blonde and the sexy latina. She glanced to Rio as he closed in protectively behind his girl, wrapping his arm around her waist and dropping his lips to her ear, asking her in a concerned murmer if she was okay. • He looked up, glancing over and spotting them, nudging Jason to get him to move down the bar with him. He dropped down next to Nina, placing a kiss to her cheek. It was good to see her out and about. "Hey baby girl..." He murmured, before he looked over to Jackie and Rio, cocking a brow. He wouldn't say this was the best place for Jackie to be. She nodded a little, sinking back against his chest, a little upset with herself to willingly running back into the shelter of her embrace, she was never going to be able to do anything on her own if she kept making him carry her. • She turned her attention to Joey with a grin, her golden eyes dancing over his featured before she leaned in to kiss him. She was in a good mood today- though she wasn't sure why- she had never bothered with her birthdays in the past though maybe Joey had something to do with it. She actually had someone to celebrate with this year. "Hey you... been having fun?"// Rio caught Joeys gaze and tightened his own jaw, offeirng his friend a slight nod, knowing what he was thinking- cause rip was thinking the exact same thing. He glanced down to Jackie, letting his lips brush across her neck as he paid for the girls drinks. The young black man had grown into himself over the last few months- especially with working in construction- his muscles had doubled in size and he looked around twenty three- not seventeen going on eighteen. • "It's been good, good enough at least..been waiting for you to show up, thought that you were going to celebrate your birthday without me." He winked lightly, he had a present for her but he was going to wait for a good time to give it to her. She smiled lightly, letting out a soft breath as she turned to face him, her arms going around his neck as she murmured softly. "Someday, I am going to have to learn how to be brave without having you right next to me..." She murmured, though her tone was loving. She appreciated him more then she could ever imagine and while they hadn't had sex yet, they had done pretty much everything else and that she trusted him that much spoke volumes. • She sighed softly, reaching up to cup his jaw with her hand. At the moment she didn't really care if Nina thought she was to mushy or to much of a baby, she just wanted to reassure Rio. "And thats what we'll make me brave enough to do it..." She murmured softly with a smile, she would be so lost without him, lost and alone and frightened that was, if she was still alive. "Love you..." She whispered up into his ear before she dropped her hand to his chest, gazing up at him with a furrowed brow. "Are you or were you mad at me?" He grinned, wrapping his arm around her as he pressed a soft kiss to her lips again. "I see you brought a group with you.." He teased lightly, he still wasn't so big on Jackie being out here, not that she was to good for the scene or anything like that, just that she was bound to get hit on and thus was bound to freak out. With Ella being in the rehab program he didn't want her out here. His hand soothed over Nina's back absently as he looked around them before he focused back on her. "You want another drink, hon, or something to eat?" She smiled a little, nodding at his words before she leaned up to press a kiss to her lips, shaking her head. "It's good for me...don't be upset with her." She still wasn't so sure of Nina but she was glad she had invited her out there - it was really good for her.
