• He had spotted her instantly- she seemed to draw attention from every angle so it was pretty difficult to miss her in all honesty- and he couldn;t help the protective dark frown that settled breifly over his features at the gazes he caught from any other guys looking. he made his way tot he bar discreetly and sidled up next to her, completely ignoring her in fun and interupting her order with his own "JD and coke, thanks... " It was his first time out in a while too... though he;d been spending plenty of time with her since their little talk the other week- talking things out with her and letting her sooth his heart. • She opened her mouth to protest, but instead a grin lit her features when she saw that it was he who she had been so rudely interrupted by. "Hey handsome. You come here often?" Her tone was teasingly coy - like so many of those girls who hung out at places like this and hit on random guys - and she winked playfully before hooking her arm through his and scooting her stool closer so that she was right next to him. "I was looking for you." That was a lie, because she hadn't exactly been looking for him, but she had been keeping an eye out for him and hoping that he would come find her before too long. His arm slipped around her shoulders and he pulled her in close to him, leaning down a touch to let his lips press a kiss to hers. "Only when you're around, beautiful" He cocked a brow and tilted up his chin in a playful arrogance as she told him she had been looking for him, suspecting she hadn't put much effort in. • "Liar." She didn't hesitate to call him on it, but her tone was affectionate as a hand dropped to squeeze his leg and she pressed a kiss to his cheek, a smile lingering. "You look lovely tonight." She commented easily and leaned in to him a bit - she may not have been looking too hard for him, but that was only because she had been counting on running into him. She was excited suddenly for the evening out with friends - this place was pretty busy, and the drinks weren't too pricey, music was decent. Her hand dropped back to his knee and then slid up a few inches to rest with her fingers curled tightly around the inside of his leg as her gaze left him for a moment to scan around until she spotted the kids - she was content just knowing that they were having a good time, so she looked back to him with another smile. His mood had seemed to lighten a little this past week or so - it was a bit of a relief, though everyone still hurt a lot it was like they were starting to adjust to this new reality. She mirrored his slight grin at that and gave his leg another squeeze before shifting off her stool to stand in front of him, her hands both moving now to rest on his knees as she leaned in closer to him. She then reached for her drink as well and took a long sip - but she was littler than him and couldn't quite drain the strong double rum and coke - before responding to that.
