Everytime I hear your name...


It was a beautiful day, a perfect seventy-three degrees and he was amazed by it. Having lived in Manchester for most of his life he was pretty thankful and grateful for each sunny day. He was stretched out on the beach towel, the dogs laying next to him as he watched her come in fromt the waves. It was so good to see her looking so healthy - she was out during the day while he was gone working a lot of the times with the dogs outside and whatnot so she had a healthy glow about her and she had put on a considerable amount of weight. Plus, she just looked happy and that made a world of difference. It made him proud to know he was the one who had made her smile like that. They looked like a happy teenage couple but they were so much more then that, they were married, had an apartment, the beginings of a real family and they were both aged well beyond their years. People had no idea anything about them but generally he liked it that way. Joey had called him earlier to talk to him about Nina being pregnant and it reminded him to talk to Ella about getting on the pillow...he didn't want to take any chances with that. She just wasn't ready for that kind of responsibility and honestly neither was he. The small smile escalated into a grin when she came up closer to him and he raised up on his elbows to watch her carefully. "I like the wet look, pet." He quipped, his british accent causing a few glances over to them.
