Make some sense out of this madness

She hated missing his shows more than anything, but had had previous commitments to her father that evening, and so had done the dinner thing and then rushed out here - hoping to catch at least the end of his set. Pleased to see a fairly large crowd hanging around, a small smile lit her lightly glossed lips as she slipped past the bouncer at the front door - making a mental note to thank him for remembering to put her on the guest list - and in to the club, a small but credible live music venue. She had changed in the car - exchanged the pale green blouse that she had worn to dinner for a sheer black tee and her heels for checkered Vans slip-on shoes, darkened her eye make-up a little and let her hair down - so she looked like she belonged there with the crowd. Her brows furrowed a little as she weaved her way along the side of the floor, looking for any sort of familiar face - unsure if he had already played or had yet to play or what, just hoping that she could find him because it was too loud in there to rely on her cell phone. She was clearly on a mission - paused only to trade a few bucks for a Corona - and so managed to avoid making any small talk with the guys that would typically not hesitate to chat up a girl on her own...
