With one more bow, he took the girls hand and led her to the side of the stage, talking quietly with her as he ducked his head down so he could actually hear her over the din of the crowd. When he did look up, he spotted Belle and smiled at her, waving her over to where he was standing. He didn't see a problem, really, he would just explain the situation to her when she got over to him.
