Subject: "Telling myself I am pathetic for missing you so much when you have been gone only four hours and um..." he glanced at the clock. "...twenty-eight minutes." He grinned a little, shrugging a little as he ran his hand over his face. "Are you done with your dinner date yet?" He questioned, wanting to know if he could be included in whatever she was now doing. A smile played on his lips at his own bashful patheticness as he paced the front hall, looking out over the sun that was pretty much non-existant in the horizon. "Where are you at?"

  • "And... Thirty-six seconds..." She added with a soft, affectionate laugh, and rested one hand behind her head, the other burried in the sand and the phone tucked between her ear and shoulder. "My dinner date is all over... I'm at the beach. All by myself." She liked knowing that he missed her - it reinforced her feelings that she was doing the right thing by sticking around and giving him a chance. "You wanna come out here? Or want me to come home?" They spent so much time at home that she would have been happy to stay out there to wait for him, but it was getting a little bit late so she wouldn't mind heading in either. Whatever he wanted to do, she would be happy with. (NT) -- Bree, Wed, Aug 30 2006, 9:42pm PDT
