Subject: The only evidence of him in the shadows was the slight glowing of the tip of the cigarette between his thumb and forefinger but that was extingushed beneath his steel-toed boots heel when she came out. Quietly, almost invisibly, he slipped into the shadows and followed her at a distance, just keeping an eye on her and making sure she got to her home safely. He didn't know what kind of assholes let a woman walk home by herself at two o'clock in the morning but he wasn't about to gallantly offer to escort her, he would much rather just follow quietly, unnoticed and then go about the rest of the night on his own once she was safely in her home.

  • We take them out and show ourselves when everyone has gone.. -- Taylor, Mon, Sep 25 2006, 1:10am PDT
  • And that was exactly why a young girl shouldn't walk home by herself after dark. Silently and suprisingly quickly considering his limp, he moved into the ally behind the man who was attacking her and quickly wrapped one strong arm around his neck in a pressing hold, cutting off the oxygen to his brain and making him weak until he let go fo Taylor's jacket and purse. He was about to press the fatal blow when he suddenly realized he wasn't in Iraq anymore - they didn't just kill the bad people here in America. His jaw clenched, he let go of the man, watching him crumble into an unconscious heap on the ground and then rolling his eyes as he saw the coward had pissed himself in fear. He was brave enough to grab a small girl but as soon as he got into a fight with another man he was pissing himself like a child. (NT) -- Fury, Mon, Sep 25 2006, 1:13am PDT
