She had been walking home alone - most nights - for many months and because of her confident and purposeful walk, most of the time she made it home without incident. Occasionally however, she encountered a little bit of trouble but had thus far not experienced anything that was really too big of a deal - typically it was just the catcalls and sometimes some obscenities that she had to deal with. It would figure though that that night, some useless bonehead was waiting in the shadows of one of the many alleys she had to pass - biding his time and hoping that a lonely girl like her would venture past. Had she the chance to do it over again, she would have just let her purse go and saved herself, but he caught her by surprise and she clung to her bag - but tried at the same time to resist being pulled into the dark by the guy's hand in the fabric of her jacket. It happened so fast that she didn't even make a noise - if anyone had been watching, it would have seemed a little surreal: an awkward, silent dance of a struggle...
