Subject: It all happened so fast that she didn't breath until she had been let go, and then inhaled in a sharp ragged breath, backing quickly out into the light again - recoiling from him as if he was just there to help the other guy, until vague recognition finally set in and she exhaled a soft breath - and a quiet sound of relief. Even though she didn't even really know him, she wasn't scared of him, and it helped that he had just intervened in what could have been an even uglier situation. She was trembling and stunned into silence and frozen in place - her purse hugged to her chest and her free hand pressed to her lips, but otherwise unharmed - once her heart rate slowed and she started breathing normally, she would be just fine, maybe just a little spooked but in the long run likely not deterred.

  • He stepped over the unconscious man and instead came up beside her, his head cocked to the side as he raked his eyes over her to make sure there was no bodily harm done before he spoke. "How much farther away do you live?" He questioned, his brow furrowed a touch as he looked up and down the road before he looked back down to her. He would walk with her to wherever she was going, no more of this walking home alone shit. He wanted to ask her when all she worked but that would require to much talking and it would make it seem like he might be interested when he was only concerned for her safety....
