Subject: He stepped over the unconscious man and instead came up beside her, his head cocked to the side as he raked his eyes over her to make sure there was no bodily harm done before he spoke. "How much farther away do you live?" He questioned, his brow furrowed a touch as he looked up and down the road before he looked back down to her. He would walk with her to wherever she was going, no more of this walking home alone shit. He wanted to ask her when all she worked but that would require to much talking and it would make it seem like he might be interested when he was only concerned for her safety....

  • When he spoke, she inhaled sharply again and shook her head brushing her hair away from her face and wrapping her arms around herself. "Just a few minutes... I'm fine though... Thanks..." Visibly shaken yet still trying to repair her pride, she absent-mindedly touched a hand to where the guy had grabbed her and finally met his gaze. "Really though, thanks..." She took a few steps away and down the sidewalk because it suddenly occurred to her that the guy was still lying right there, and then it crossed her mind that she should probably call the police, but it just seemed like so much trouble and she really just wanted to be at home in her safe little apartment.
