Subject: "He'll wake up." He stated gruffly before he started walking the way she had, next to her though he didn't look at her. He was walking with her to her apartment whether she liked it or not. She may not trust him - with good reason - but he knew that there was a lot worse things to fear out on these streets than him, when it came to her at least. To punks like the one he had nearly decapitated, there was nothing worse than coming across Fury at night. After walking a few steps, he finally looked beside him to see if she was walking also, since he didn't know where to go and the whole purpose of this was for him to keep an eye on her...

  • She was on her way by the time that he informed her that the guy would wake up, but sped up a little at his words. When she noticed that he was walking with her, she started to protest because she really didn't want to trouble him any more than she already had. She stopped herself before she really said anything though, because really at that moment she didn't mind having someone to walk her home - looking over at him every couple of steps. Once it was established that he was indeed accompanying her, she shifted ever so slightly closer - possibly even unconsciously - just so that her arm brushed his as they walked, her eyes settling straight ahead on her destination.
