Subject: "Clearly... Clearly you are..." He agreed slowly with a bit of a smile, one hand draped between his knees and the other raising his drink to his lips one more time. He was much less subtle while checking her out - his eyes appreciative as they studied her features, and then drifting down her torso, lingered on her soft hips and then her slender legs. He was an artist before he was a man and was admiring her lines as much as he was admiring her other 'talents'. "What's a girl like you doing out here?" Not to imply anything about her, but on the whole this wasn't a popular place for lone females to be hanging out.
In reply to: Travis 's message, "

Sometimes I think I'm happy here, sometimes
Yet I still pretend
I can't remember how this got started
But I can tell you exactly how it will end

  • She laughed at that, shaking her head. "Never understood that question, really, what kind of girl do you suppose I am?" By saying, 'a girl like you', it gave off the impression that the guy knew what kind of girl she was and really, know one knew what kind of girl she was except for her. She really was a beautiful girl, her face perfectly balanced, even and delicate but sharp at the same time, distinct. Her lips were soft and round and her eyes were a bright shade of green but it was there that she looked so much older, more worldly, more hardened then she should. She had the eyes of a girl who had seen way to much in her life. (NT) -- Lysia, Sun, Jun 05 2005, 9:47pm PDT
