Subject: "I was in Atlanta." The words were out of his mouth before he even realized that they were coming and his brows furrowed instantly for a few reasons - he didn't believe that he needed to explain himself to her, so he wasn't sure where that statement had come from, and also because he had no reason to believe that she would even care where he had been and what he had been up to. Maybe she hadn't even noticed. "And hey, by the way." He added on with a helpless shrug, downing the rest of his drink and setting the glass on the edge of a nearby table before shoving his hands into the pockets of his jeans.

  • Her expression softened a touch at his words, some of the icey stiffness leaving her shoulders, she looked down at her drink for a second, pondering what she thought of the whole thing before she just nodded slowly. "Nice place..." She murmured before setting down her own now empty glass. "Hey to you too." She bit her lip lightly, bringing her green eyes back to him for a second before she gestured to the pool table. "Feel like a game?" It would help keep her mind occupied and keep her focused. If she kept on drinking she might say something stupid or do something she would regret and if she just stood there she would fidget.. (NT) -- Lysia, Wed, Aug 24 2005, 11:34pm PDT
