She just brushed a short strand of hair from her eyes and tugged a touch at the hem of her shirt. "I'm great, thanks for asking. And yourself? Yeah, I missed you too." Her tone held a slight edge, but she was past being mad at him for going away - more just hurt now at his lack of excitement to see her again, especially considering her own involuntary butterflies and shaking hands.
