Ok, so I got off school on Wednesday, and yesterday I had to work, and my full work schedule starts tomorrow, so today is my last real day off, hehe, so I'm making the most of it. Firstly, I'm going to try really hard to get the pop-up layout done today.... cause if I don't, I don't have another free day for... goodness, who knows... ten days at the most. Anyways, so I'm trying to do that, but I'm soooo hyped up for several reasons...
Firstly, I'm off of school! I'm a senior now! That has soooo much power! Gosh, I can't wait until I go to college... and don't worry, if this place is still alive then, I'll still own it, thoug by that time I'll probably take on a co-owner [I think Lauren's gone totally... I haven't even talked to her in months, so I'm sort of usurping her power...]. Next year is looking to be really easy, and I'm taking a bunch of cool classes, like psycology, sociology, anthropology, and such, plus I get to be a student aid for my favorite teacher, so I think next year will really rock!
Secondly, I'm totally in this boy mood.... Wednesday when I was coming home from school, I smiled to this guy in this big ass Silverado truck, and he ended up following me home [my god, I was scared shitless]. Nothing happened, but we car flirted and then he stalked me...... creepy, but he was cute. Then me and a group of friends went to the mall, and on the way home, me and my friend were flirting with these three guys in another car, they were all cute, it was great [I love driving now, lmao]. Then yesterday during work, a bunch of guys were checking me out, and no matter how ugly a guy is, if he checks you out, it makes you feel good. And then this one guy asked if I'd draw a pic of him and put my number on the bottom [I draw caricatures at a local theme park]. And there was this one drop dead gorgeous guy that I would have given an arm and a leg for, who walked by and I smiled, and then he came by later and said a couple words. And oh god, I hope he lives someplace nearby and comes back to the park sometime this summer. I mean, he was like a god, or a movie star or rock singer or something.... Bleached blondey hair, almost boardering orange, bright bright blue eyes, just slightly taller than me...... and gosh, he seemed so nice........ I seriously would have given anything for this guy, he was that gorgeous.. *swoons for a moment*
Third, I'm working on a manga! For those of you that don't know, manga is a term for comic books, graphic novels, that sort of thing. They're like really thick comic books, about the size of a normal novel. Anyways, I've always wanted to do one, but I realized I suck crap at drawing people, so I scratched that and began writing. Then on my last day of school, after my last exam, I was so bored and had nothing more to study for, so I doodled these two horse heads, in my typical animeish/cartoonish fashion. My best friend saw them and told me they looked like Disney characters, which is what I thought after I had drawn them. She told me I should make a manga, so all day yesterday at work I worked on thinking up a plot and stuff. The plot isn't there yet, but I've got my two main characters down, and I'm working on the third. Basically, they're these fantasy type horses with weird coat patterns, and the bad guys I think are going to be gryphons, or some sort of feline type creature. The main character is this 'teenage' three year old arabianish stally who's family got killed by the feline things, so he's feeling vengeful. So he's on a mission, and he meets this big old shire-type stally who becomes his mentor type thing. There's also a girl he's gotta meet and fall in love with..... It's really typical and stuff, but I think it'll be fun to write/draw!
And last, it's my day off... First day to enjoy life. For the next ten weeks of my life, I have to work 5 days a week. The only good thing is after this week, my manager is changing the shifts from 9 hours with an hour break ot 8 hours with an hour break, so that's only 7 hours of standing, instead of 8. Much nicer for me and my stupid back problems that some of you have heard about. Heh. Hopefully I can go to the doctor next friday for that. I haven't been able to find my real manager lady yet, so I'm two paychecks behind everyone else, but at least when I get them I'll have money. Oh! And I got my first tip yesterday! Ee, I was very excited about that! We're not really supposed to take tips, but we're allowed, and I was so happy... cause I'm not very good at hassling people, so I don't make as much money as my friends do [we work on stupid commission] so little things like that make me happy. =^.^= Anyways, I'm off to work on my new manga thingy! Wheee!
