Hey there, Sounds like you're having a lot of fun! School's not out yet, but soon it will be.. the thought is keeping me alive through exam season. I'm gonna be a senior too!!! Exciting stuff. I got a summer job too which I'm really happy about.. I get to work at the CBC newsroom in my hometown of Ottawa. It's so cool, because even though I'm just getting coffee and stuff, I get to meet all the news anchors and gain some important connections for when I apply to a broadcasting program at University after my undergrad. I think it'll be really exciting, and plus it's a really innovative job! But unfortunately, I don't get to meet any hot guys -- wait, you never know!
I just started driving too.. and I love it. I was driving home from a friend's party, and there were some guys that pulled up beside us at a red. Heh, we actually raced them to the next lights because it was pretty deserted - we beat them of course. ;) This summer is gonna be pretty hectic though... with my job, the cottage and our numerous trips. Looks like we're going to Spain/England and then later on in August we're going to the Caribeean. It's awesome...
Speaking of England, they won their game against Argentina! You have no idea how happy I am. Lol, I'm a major soccer fan, and being from England I like to support my amazing team. I'm so happy, they're great. Go Beckham, Go Owen! Go England! heh heh heh.
If you're lookin' for a co-owner ta help you out over the summer and during your senior year/into university, then I'll be glad to help out. Consider me for an application ;). You've done an amazing job so far with JBTH... you've taken it to new heights! I'm mega impressed... but yeah, I haven't seen Lauren around in a while either. Crazy stuff.
The summer will give me a chance to work on my novel as well. I'm writing a historical fiction novel... it's about two kids (they're twins, but they don't know it) who are regular teens in the 21st but they get sent back in time to the tudorian era. One of them has a good time, and ends up forgetting about her life in the 21st century, the other one desperatly wants to find a way back. They eventually find each other, realize that they're both from the same era (complicated, huh?) and then they end up finding a way back home. I'm about 3/4 of the way through it, getting to the really interesting denoument. I think it's cool because I get to explain some of my theories about the afterlife and other philosophical queries through my book. It's fun, but it's written for grade 7-9 yr olds. I love writing.. I think it's great.
Good luck on your Manga! You have to scan some of your pictures up so that we can see them.
