What is shared by our elders over and over: "If you have one drop of blood..." Do they mean that or are they just saying it for the sake of saying it?

Most of us are mixed something or other. Native peoples in the east were called "conquered" a good 200 years ahead of those in the west and there is much mixed-blood there.

Those who are exploiting the culture are eventually known by their own words and actions. Creator will take care of them. People who are truly seeking are also be known to Creator. When one is ready for the teacher, the right teacher will be placed in one's path.

We should learn and grow ourselves, and be concerned for the next 7 generations. Many children are hungry for knowledge of their Native ancestry and their ways - and they show it to us. Should we be concerned about helping them find their paths in a good way, or should we not share it and just let it all die? What is our responsibility?
