Quote: I debate it with them and try to educate them. They never seem to change there opinion.

Do not take this to heart, Jennifer. Change comes from within; plant the seed subtly, and give it time to

grow. Fertile soil of the soul will allow this; infertile soil is a waste of time.

Quote: I walk around filled with an eternal sadness that we all cant just put aside past hates and blames...

I hope you can banish that sadness, Kayh; again, change in others comes from within, but you can lead by example. Show love and humility in everything you do and say - let others want to be like you.

Quote: ...maybe theyre people that have been sent to teach you a lesson.

Very true. There are those who fear to change, thinking it shows weakness.

Quote: ...Native people think I am trying to steel their Spirituality.

This is a little disquieting. But it certainly not prevelent. On the website "Wisdom Keepers" http://www.wisdomkeepers.com/elders.html Harvey Arden writes about meeting Mathew King for the first time, and Mathew greeted him with this:

"I know why you're here. White Man lost his Instructions, that's why you're here! You lost your Original Intructions that God gave you, and now you're comin' here to steal ours!" He studied my reaction. I smiled stoicly, biting my lip. This old fellow seemed downright surly. Then, abruptly, in the flicker of an instant, he smiled--and my soul was hooked.

I have always liked that quote. Mr. King was right - we are to share the good, and keep the darkness within ourselves to ourselves, not thrust our problems onto others.

Blessings to you all,
Roger
