hi Passers-by,

you sounded rather frustrated when you wrote about the lack of political representation in hk to propose legislations to protect gay rights.

i agree with you that at the moment there is no legislation in hk to protect lgbt rights. i am not sure which 1 or 2 gay man organization you meant when you wrote that they paid attention to this issue. i believe the civil rights for sexual diversity group is into the legal aspect of this issue. i don't think they are a 'gay man' group although the founders, i believe, are mainly (if not solely) male.

if you are interested, it may be a good idea to join their group (they have a yahoo group online as well). or alternatively, you can set up a lesbian orientated lobby group for this cause - and mobilise other lesbians in hk to join and help. what do you think?

Sure i 'll do what i could do and send emails to Lego Mem.
& wait for their action.

A group is more representative than an individual.

If no group is to make demand, this little potatos,me, can simply urge them to do so.

I know some fds who work in the legal field and are willing to provide support in legal knowledge in this area.
