Jeff, been reading some of your posts. Here's my thoughts. A short deck BB, cast intake, conventional heads, single four, is still limited anywhere you slice it. I'm sure someone could throw a bunch of money at one but the gains would be minimal. You seem to forget that chassis setup and driving skills are a very big part of this equation. Now if someone was cheating, that's a different story and I can assure you that anyone caught would never race with us again. Cheating requires a criminal mind and we don't have the time for people like that. And if you're worried someone will dominate this thing, not a problem. As I stated before, this is a dictatorship not a democracy and the first racer that wins twice in a row will be shot on sight. Problem solved.

[> [> Jeff, everybody needs to realize that we still have a long way to go before we set the rules for next year. But we have to have some rules to start with and go from there. Remember, we still haven't had a BIG BB down the track yet (got some comin) and we still have more questions than answers. The bottom line is still getting as many cars down the track so we can make an intelligent decision. It's either that or shoot the winners, I can't decide. -- Mark, 19:55:54 10/07/02 Mon [1]
