YOU MENTION IN THE RULES THAT ONLY AUTOMOTIVE TYPE AUTOMATIC TRANMISSIONS ARE ALLOWED. SMALL BLOCKS RUN EXTEMELY WELL WITH A CLUTCH AND A STICK OR THREE OR FOUR STICKS. MANUEL GEAR BOXES(LENCO, ETC..) AREN'T AS EXSPENSIVE AS THEY USED TO BE. A PERSON COULD TIE UP THE SAME KIND OF MONEY IN A WELL BUILT POWERGLIDE AND CONVERTER. DON'T ALLOW PNEUMATIC OR SOLENOID ASSISTED MANUEL TRANSMISSIONS. ONLY A SUGGESTION FROM AN OLD SCHOOL PRO STOCK FAN. THIS ASSOCIATION SHOULD DO WELL!!!

I agree, also you can put more power into these transmissions, allowing the class to go faster, drawing a larger group of fans, and members
