Hi Mrs Franich, (her real name is Amelia)

As discussed, we would like to hold a large computer gaming event in the Logan Campbell Center, with around 800 people there late October. We will be running with people awake for 24hours a day but during the evening, night and early morning it will be closed to the public.

We will be providing for the people attending a seat at a table, access to a network that we will be providing, access to a power grid that we will have set up. The attendees will be bringing their own computers to the event.

Also we plan on providing a place where the attendees will be able to purchase coffee (iced/hot) and food (especially pizza). Also we are aware of the need for security and fire wardens and are looking at having both or combined onsite during

Here are a couple of issues that we would like to resolve with you before bond is paid:

1.. We need to be able to let the gamers eat at there seats. We still do not believe that the caterers are able to provide the services that we require. However if they are willing to provide pizza of any sort made in about 20mins for the same price as Pizza Hut (i.e., a large pizze for under $10) or a burger for $3.50 we would be willing to look into them further.

2.. We are renting the hall for over 3 days (including 1 half price pack-in day) so we need to be able to let people sleep on the floors near their equipment.

3. We feel that the LCC intends to make a large profit from our power usage. 17cents per kilowatt hour (instead of the quoted 22 cents per kilowatt hour) is a more fair commercial price. We would like to negotiate the cost of the power for our event - to encourage the possibility of future events.

3.. 2 Fire wardens @ $15 per hour, we may use yours or get security that also doubles as a fire warden.

4.. We have the $2000 deposit for you upfront and ready but is there any incentive for us to pay you all the rent money upfront? We understand that the daily cost is $3730 + gst for the Sat and Sun. The Friday is a pack-in day at half price at $1865 + gst. The total cost of the 3 days is $9325 + gst.

5. Is the week earlier still available if we pay you the bond money now? i.e., 19, 20, 21 October 2001.

6. We would like a complete list of what you offer for cleaning of the center.

7. If you go to the following website - you will see an image of what is planned

Kind Regards,
Gamer Network Ltd.
