I agree with Dreemy on this one...firstly it is quite a common dream to have and it is nearly always to do with a new Path or adventure.
Secondly I think it is a pretty usual to feel the need to have a baby at a young age, though it doesn't mean that we are all mentally prepared to have one...I was also like Dreemy, I wanted a whole hoard of kids when I was young but I didn't go out and follow that urge.
I work with both children and young people and I see the affect it has on some of them when their mothers are so young, they can only just deal with their own lives, thoughts and feelings without the extra worry of caring for their kids or you get the mums who thought that it would be a cool fashion accessory to have a baby only to find out its not all its cracked up to be, or the mum who thought it would make them look grown up to have their own child, then they find out it doesnt work like that...some people can do it, but not many...I found it helped me when I was younger to do the baby sitting thing, not just when they are all wrapped up cute in bed but during the day too when they are awake and lively. Fortunately I was pretty darn mature at 16 and I coped pretty well but it was real hard work. I actually had my daughter a month into my 20th year and it was very difficult to keep your sanity.
There soooooo much to life that needs to be lived before anybody should contemplate having a baby. You cant just give them back when you've had enough...unlike with babysitting.
Im sorry I have been maybe a bit heavy with my comments but it's something I feel strongly about and you posted on here to find out peoples opinions.

Blessings
Angel
