Didn't many of the Israelites of jesus' time believe he was a profit reincarnated.....in fact doesn't it mention this and the concept of profits reincarnating in the new testament? There was a time that for educational purposes I read the king james bible all the way through....TWICE! I highly recommend this for every and anyone. because the christian bible is so quoted and mis-quoted in our culture, and because it is so much a part of our culture, it is a valuable thing educationally to actually read the book for ones'self and not just assume you know what's in there...or even that others do. On my 'to-do' list is to read other religous writings from across-the-board as well such as the koran. I am embarking on my 50th year on the planet (this time around...hehe) and do not want to let the next 20 to 40 years go by with my head in the proverbial sand.

It is my opinion that it is fear and narrow minded-ness that causes the most danger to humanity. As pagans, we owe it to the rest of the world and its inhabitants to do our part to help wipe out ignorance (and its resulting fear) in any ways that we feel able....and as with anything....the best place to start is with ourselves. How can we complain about people being ignorant of wicca (or paganisim in general) when we ourselves are for the most part truly uneducated about others' religions. I know Christianity is very prevalent...but it is not the religion of the majority of the earth's occupants! I, as well as many others have spent a lot of time with my nose is wiccan and pagan books...and have a pretty hefty library of such. But my plan is to move beyond that far more than I have previously done and gain and understanding and thus an appreciation for many other religions.

and now.....back to the kiosk....

L&L,
DReemy
