Anyway, this article was linked on Fark today. Found it rather humorous myself. But in the Fark comments section, this comment appeared:

"It would be funny, if it were satire. unfortunately it cannot be satire because yanks are so stupid, ignorant and narrow visioned, that it is actually quite possible that they wouldn't know what a football / soccer ball is if it smashed there nose."

No offense, but so fucking what?. Speaking as an American, I'm sick to death of hearing other nations bash Americans for not knowing about football/soccer. We don't fucking care !! It's a fucking game. Get over yourselves.

What's really sad is that these people are mocking us for not enjoying the sport without realizing that doing so is basing their national pride on the fact that they have eleven guys who can kick a ball around. Sorry, we got other things to be proud of. Like Hooters.
