Subject: DID NO ONE ELSE SEE *THIS* COMING?????

Think about it, folks, we spend hours on end discussing the music of Burton Cummings. We wonder why he wrote a certain lyric, what a certain song meant, what makes the man tick, and most of all, wonder what Cummings does in his spare time. Well, this past little while, the man himself has joined us in an OPEN forum, discussing music and life in general. For a brief flashing moment, Burton Cummings was with us, talking with us like he would talk with one of his closest friends. Now, because of one prude and a few others, Cummings is saying "SEE YA FOLKS." What the fuck? Am I getting this? I believe I am --- Cummings is opting out of the cyber-community, probably (and justifiably) due to his feeling judged and held to a shitty standard. To all you to whom this hasn't registed, allow me to clarify: YOU HAVE DRIVEN THE GUY OFF THE FUCKING BOARD!!!!! ARE YOU HAPPY NOW, YOU FUCKING CONTROL FREAKS????? CUMMINGS HAS LEFT THE BUILDING!!!!! Oh fuck, now I've seen it all!!!!! This latest round of "ASSHOLE-ITIS" truly is UNFORGIVEABLE!!!!! Burt (and anyone else who's mad about this), *PLEASE* *PLEASE* use my e-mail so we can continue discussing music and life, in a free, human way. My e-mail is either ihawk@joymail.com OR gwbelfast@hotmail.com ..... as of now, with Cummings being driven off the board, I am removing this board from my set of bookmarks and blotting it from my memory. *CUMMINGS* and everyone else who feels as I do, use my e-mail and we'll get back to some real conversation. Better yet, let's all get together and do something CYBER of our own --- as we speak, Ryan Garrioch and myself and a number of others are building a Guess Who/Burton Cummings/music site that will prove a happy hunting ground for free discourse and music history --- Burt, you should have a few essay/article pieces and/or discographies you might want to contribute ..... I am leaving this board, not because I haven't enjoyed my stay here, but because I don't see any sense in continuing to discuss the work of Burton Lorne Cummings when he's been fucking driven from the Board!!! Thanks a lot, coward!!!!! Hope it was worth it ...... ONE ANGRY FUCKING HAWK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
